Congratulations...You're Gifted!

Yesterday we finished up our series called, "Congratulations...You're Gifted!" We spent a few weeks talking about how God designed all of us and where we can use our specific gifts to serve.

The last week was all about really finding out how you were gifted and getting plugged into a specific ministry where you can serve. So, we took time out of our HSM morning to have students complete a spiritual gift test and gave them an opportunity to serve.

All in all, we had 18 students sign up to get involved in serving here at NewPointe. 18 students signed up to help with babies, work in the cafe, teach elementary school kids, run cameras/sound equipment, and act in our KidStuf environment.

It is really amazing to see God using so many students already in ministry - Can't wait to see how these new student volunteers will get plugged in and start growing!

HSM Updates...

Yesterday the power was out a church, so we didn't actually have HSM...

But, here are two things I definitely want to let you know about...

1. Last weekend a bunch of HSM students came out to help with our Spring Service Project. We did three projects in the Dover/New Philadelphia area. It was great to see students out serving and loving on the people in our community.



























































2. Just wanted to let you all know that HSM Small Groups will be starting the first weekend in JUNE. So, if you haven't signed up for an small group and you are in grades 9-12 please email me at mberes@newpointe.org to get signed up!
